came across this today - it's an open source cross platform sampler that looks pretty promising. i'm d/l'ing it now to have a look but thought i'd see if anyone had any experience with it already and if it was useful to anyone else

BAH - can't get it to start as either a stand alone or a vst. your mileage may be better than mine though as a bug has already been registered for my problem and it doesn;t seem like too many people are having my problem...
