There's an interesting vst plugin adapter in testing at http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0 that allows you to either run 32 bit plugins in a 64 bit host or
extend the memory limit of your 32 bit host by running vst's in their own address space.
This could be usefull in many ways...
(edit: I was just testing this in Usine standalone as a method of offloading cpu heavy plugins to other cores. hmm....)
