HID divices

Hi.
Can I use my PC keyboard or other HID devices instead of MIDI? Key learn is good option, but it doesn't work inside VSTi. Is here somehow possible to play VSTi with keyboard?

If you want to play midi notes, here a patch to use your keyboard :



If you want use your keyboard to control a parameter , here an idea , note i use 0.1 as increment value:

and depending of your HID device , you can use an array to use his information, here a saitek joystick :

I also find interesting thing with respect to parameter control on keyboard. This is little strange to switch on the increment and decrement buttons and reverse the on/off values[for both buttons and switches], but in result is not necessary to push the buttons many times for increase or decrease - just hold down the key and gain increase or decrease in accordance with gain knob increment value.
