Thanks so much for your help. Unfortunately, I am very new to this level of patching (as basic as it may seem) and I am having trouble implementing your suggestions. This is why I feel it would be very helpful to have a more robust set of patching tutorials so that beginners like me can learn the ve...

Thanks for this. What you are suggesting is the same/similar to the patching exercise in the manual, no? I am thinking about something slightly different here: I have a step sequencer attached to the groove mangler that controls pitch. I can manually set the pitches where I want or randomize them. B...

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the videos and the sub-patching polyphony example/ tutorials (although I was unable to make the last one work correctly after many attempts...but that's a matter for another day). I hate to fill up this board with simplistic questions, but here goes: Right n...

I seem to remember when I first got into HH2 there was a more detailed patching tutorial available, but I don't seem to be able to find anything like it now? I am trying to learn the basics of patching (beyond the absolute intro level) and have found myself a bit frustrated about where to turn. Even...

For what it's worth, I am loving HH3 and its sampling capabilities, especially in the area of creating dynamic rhythms. For me, of particular note in this regard is the the groove mangler. I get 2 or three of those running with 4 or 5 different samples (say one drum sample, a "noise" sample, a strin...

Yes, they are all wav files. the strange thing is this: they all work in the "drums" and "instrument" folders. then in the "loops" folder they work in the "drum loops" folder all the way down to the "popcorn" file. Then the next file "sdm gl 105" cannot be read...and all subsequent files in the "dru...

First I want to say that I am really enjoying HH3. There are several things that I am finding easier about working with it than HH2. I am now committed to making it my performance platform so I am diving in. I have a long ways to go but am really enjoying learning this software. I love that it works...

Yes...worked like a charm. Exactly like you said, Battery hovering around 4%. After I posted the first time I noticed like you did that it seemed that Battery was gradually moving up to 20% plus but I would have had no idea how to approach fixing that. BTW, I am really enjoying HH3. I used HH2 somew...

One that keeps happening to me in HH3 involves the groove sequencer. It simply, and consistently, stops working after a couple minutes (I have it driving Battery). If I turn it "off" and then "on", it starts up again. But this happens every time, and again, it takes a couple of minutes before it tur...
