something else has occurred to me - what about with multiclient asio drivers - each instance of usine would then utilise separate cores wouldn't it?

If your host is multi-core Usine is so, and each instance of Uisne works as a separate thread.

So to resume, Usine use on core for audio and another for display.

Actually a quad core is not really necessary.
