anybody knows the LG Flatron L1730SF 17'? read it can be mounted on a wall like a picture. this thing could do the trick for me then, as said around 550-600$, reaction time ~12ms...

Doas this mean that I can use my Wacom tablet with a pen to control Usine ?
yes of course. Also, the tablet pc mode works with a 'normal' mouse!
not sure if a mountable touch screen layer would be a solution for me, cause I have a rackmount desktop pc, no laptop. currently I take a 19' monitor with me (not cool)
for me: if I have a touchscreen I want high quality, the models I tried so far (<500$) did not suffice. albeit I have among other behringer controllers I believe money should not be saved for controller hardware, rather for plugins (and go to gersic.com).
some models: guess I want 17' at least. -> Clevo Tablet PC: too small for my taste, kewl is portability -> touchscreen monitors: LG Flatron L1730SF 17' for ~600$, and the iiyama ProLite T1930SR-1 19' for ~750$. maybe too cheap -> pen tablets: not sure if working with a pen instead of fingers is nice. looks more expensive... Wacom Pen Display PL-720, 17": ~1700$ Belinea s.display 5, 22", Pen Tablet, ~1700$
--> found no transportable touch screen monitor? --> go for a normal monitor and follow senso's recommendation? --> do you think it makes sense to wait for multitouch monitors? lemurs exclusitiviy seems to fade away..apple is going hard to bring it to the mass market. maybe 1 year to wait for a 700$, 17' multitouch device?
