I would prefer both, maybe as a separate module for the external outputs. For my use it could be hardcoded to every output, but if someone uses some old synth, they might prefer to have a choice, since I can well remember the strange noises that some instruments gave off if they where still emitting a sound when the All Notes Off message came...

The first solution can be implemented easily when the synchro stops.

The next version of Usine will come soon with a lot of improvements in the midiplayer: record/save recorded file/ more synchro accurate, etc.

Would it be possible to have All Notes Off messages sent when the Audio engine stops? Preferably also when synchro stops, but I guess I can program that myself. Another possible variety would be to add a "panic" button to kill hanging notes.
