Hello. Thanks all for your help. Rack calculation mode is set in SERIE so it is suposed to work correctly and as desired. I will be doing some testing and adjustments then I will share the project soon.

Hello,

Did you check your rack settings ?
By default, a rack is calculated in serie. But there is an option to use them in parallel. Maybe you selected parallel and forgot it.
Otherwise, I don't know, it seems you did it correctly.
Can you share you're project ?

and the audio out goes to the patch below

in your picture audio goes in the MXR DIST and then in the KLON

Hi joffo78, thanks for replying. Attached are images of how the each patch and the rack are built. I understand that each VST has to have AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT modules to transmit audio. Every patch has a different audio VST and every VST has the same AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT modules as seen in the image. These patches have to be interchangeable within the rack orderwise. If I put two or more patches in a rack each patch will receive the same audio signal from the audio INPUT source from the top of the rack (audio 1 device). In this case they will be in parallel and not in serie. I wonder on how to build the patches in order to achieve the desired IN SERIE configuration no matter on the order of the patches.

Hello. I m not sure to understand your question.
Basically if you only put several patchs on a rack there will be connected in serie. And if you want you can also put directly a rack into another one. There will be in serie to. Indeed if you put the same device corresponding to your instrument on several tracks there will be processed in parallel

Hi all. I'm working on a project that has several racks, each rack has four patches that contain one VST plugin on each. I'm not sure how these patches transmit audio signal among them. In theory a rack is what it is in real life, it is suposed to flow the audio signal among all patches in SERIES until it reaches the output stage of the rack. In theory it is also necessary to add AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT modules to each VST to get this flow done. The thing is that each patch will be placed within the rack using the LOAD PATCH functionality of USINE according to each case, the project is a sort of guitar effects processor where you can select different components (effects) as need it.

I build each patch separately, so each one has AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT modules, the problem is that when two or more patches are placed in a rack (in series) they all will pick the same audio signal from the INPUT stage of the rack acting more as a PARALLEL system. I hope I'm explaining myself propperly and that you get the idea. I need the audio signal flow to be IN SERIES.

The other thing I want to know is how do I connect or transmit the resulting audio signal from one rack to the next one and continues the audio flow until it reaches the final OUTPUT stage of the workspace. I used to know how to do this in old USINE 5 but HH is a bit different and to be honest I don't remember exactly how I used to do it. I guess in HH is by dragging and dropping method

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
