So in your studio setup you should connect your main output plus your 8 output for your small speakers.
After you add your device to the output section of your track.

I have 8 speakers in my studio I'm running from a Behringer UMC-1820. I have my studio monitors plugged into the main outputs (1+2) and smaller speakers fed from the other 8 mono outputs. The smaller speakers aren't getting any signal though. Is this because I'm running the free version?

The smaller speakers are working ok in Logic Pro.
