I changed my regional parameters to english US, and the parse error disapeared after rebooting (I was on french - France parameters).Changed windows locale to english (usa) seem to work.
But I don't think that it's really a bug by NI, because only platinum have problems with that localization. X3 and other DAW's work fine with Kontakt5 on a german windows.

For Apple OS, I found these 2 files in two locationsHello,
possibly the default instruments/multi files are corrupted. These files are part of the Kontakt installation.
Approach to a solution:
Delete the files and see if Kontakt 3 now starts without a problem.
How-to:
in two locations (see below) you will find two files named
Kontakt_def.nkm
and
Kontakt_def.nki
move these files to the trash.
the locations are:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Kontakt 3
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 3\default
When done try if Kontakt now starts. If it starts, create a default multi of your choice, it may or may not be an empty multi (empty rack). Now from the Kontakt load button choose "save as default multi" to regain the default multi loaded at startup of Kontakt.
