I tried to reorganize them in "fixed" position, but it would reset on usine restart :/
I tried now with the 200707 release, and still resetting placement on reload (with auto-reorganize off and auto resize on).

Thank you for the info about the future release, I'll keep using my workaround as it's a single clic on project load and planned to "change back" :)
And I'll be more vigilant about the updates/release notes too !

Best regards,

EDIT 11/07: it's great to start the day with today's update, the layouts are "back to normal", fantastic !

To fix it, you can disable the auto-reorganization in the settings (tab sizes) of the rack object and reorganize patches manually.
You'll have also to enable auto-resize setting.

Obviously, it wasn't a so good idea...We plan to fix it and go back to the previous behavior, in the next release.
Sorry for that.

I migrated few days ago from 4.1.200423 to 4.1.200619.

When I open my workspace since, patches are organized horizontally, instead of vertically, as before.

I made a hotfix by creating a patch that cycle through each rack and trigger rack output to show, with the "always at bottom" box active, then hide them.

As it's not a behavior I'm used to, and the "solution" seems hackish, I wonder if I'm missing something ?
I put that project aside for 2 month, I might not remember few hackish things I did months ago... (ha... sweet doc... one day)
Documentation and forum search "align", "patch organization", etc, lead to no helping results...

Any ideas/suggestion about better layout are welcome, I don't want to want to use fix position, as it's a pain to maintain, and I think I'm definitively doing something wrong for the software to not be able to initialize layouts correctly.

Best regards,
