It should be very cool to have a 64bits version for Mac OSX. There is more and more plugins that didn't work on 32 bits. And for some big projects with complex workshop, i think it is better with a 64 bits software.

I understand it would be a hard job. And i can't help you because it is out of my competences ...

thank you, all the team.
I think the Sensomusic team should stress that they can unfortunately only wait until Embarcadero to get 64-bit macOS working before the team can really even try to get it to work.

That said, I imagine that most of the hard work of a 64-bit port was finished long ago when we got the Windows x64 version. That is pure speculation, however.

The real point is: the team's hands are tied until their application development framework is able to compile to macOS 64-bit.

And visiting the website I just noticed that the newest version includes the first Linux compiler! It would be incredibly cool to see Usine running on a F/LOSS OS: https://www.embarcadero.com/products/ra … 10-2-tokyo.
that would be good, mostly with RME sound cards !

This doesn't help the mac 64-bit version itself but it's clear that Embarcadero are taking their commitment to their platform seriously, so I think they might just deliver on time.

The question at that point will be: do they deliver it with enough lead time for their application developers to port to 64-bit before 32-bit disappears? Or maybe they can make it a more-or-less seamless upgrade path for devs..

I'm surprised this works but glad that it does.
Is it reliable enough for a live performance though?

Could really use a 64bit OSX version - if nothing else I want to be able to use Reaktor Blocks in Usine and R6 is 64bit only.
