Does it make sense? I am not sure how to upload a crude example on the forum so I include a link to the file..

For number 2) i was hoping to have a master rack taking the other racks as audio input..
this is simply a matter of drag&drop:

and somehow building a patch that could control the tempo etc
that really depends, what you exactly need. All tempo things are best dealt with the Syncro modules..Master or Local..

Thank you very much for your solution for issue number 1 , it is exactly what I needed:D and sorry for the delay in responding but some heavy storms left us without network..

Issue number 2) is still resisting a solution as yet but I keep trying.

Thanks!

For number 1) i was thinking to have a sort of led flashing at the set tempo but haven't managed to do so.
For number 2) i was hoping to have a master rack taking the other racks as audio input and somehow building a patch that could control the tempo etc.. but I have been unable to do it.
Hi there,

the first one is quite easy to manage. Just connect a LED or a Switch to the Master Sync bar led outlet like so

Image

you can resize/edit both Switch/LED to your needs. I've also connected the bar position to the caption input of the Switch. The Int to Str module transforms an integer Data flow into a Text flow.

My project:

I facilitate live rhythm groups where I lead participants very progressively into complex multilayered rhythms. I normally use some drums while I lead to provide the rhythm structure but I would want to be totally free of drums.

I have high quality recordings of each drum parts and have distributed them into audio racks. The rhythm layers are built progressively and I need to be able to switch on/off each rack anytime to come back to the previous layer if need be. So far so good, although I still have to build an easy interface for live use.

My issues:

1) I need to include have a visual cue of the set tempo in my interface to be able to introduce live sound ,prior to launching the recorded sound, but at the same tempo.

2) The process requires me to be able to adjust the tempo faster/slower at any time. The adjustments are done in relatively small ranges but must affect all the racks at once and not modify the pitch of the audio (a bit like the functionality that exist in the grain sampler player)

For number 1) i was thinking to have a sort of led flashing at the set tempo but haven't managed to do so.
For number 2) i was hoping to have a master rack taking the other racks as audio input and somehow building a patch that could control the tempo etc.. but I have been unable to do it.
