I think it's about accent in french language.
My folder was named "léger" and when I transfer all the session into another folder named: "leger"; It works!

I will also try to make and upgrade with the new version.

Thanks again for your feedback.

First, I've tried to repair the permissions first but nothing change.

About your suggestions:

1. What directory are you running HH out of?
-> I don't get the question, I'm sorry because I'm pretty bad in english but I try my best! :-)

2. Have you tried moving the installation somewhere else?
-> Not the installation program.
Because on Mac, all the application are routed at the same place.

Nevertheless I've tried to locate the corrupted folder and I get it.
But nothing strange in the parameters of this folder...
All is "writing and Reading Permission"...

I try to record a sound of the other folder and it's work!...

Really, I don't get it.

3. Are you using x64 or the x32?
-> It's a 32bit system.

Any other Idea?

All the best.
Jules.

No I'm just kidding.

I've had similar problems with administrative permissions in windows even though I have an administrator account.
I believe I actually had the same error before. Simple things like saving a text file to my root C: wont let me even though I am admin.
Curious, I don't know much about newer Macs but...

1. What directory are you running HH out of?
2. Have you tried moving the installation somewhere else?
3. Are you using x64 or the x32?

This is where I would look at, but not as seasoned, nor do I have access to a Mac with 10.6 at the moment.
Hope you get resolved!

Thanks but I'm working with Mac OS X 10.6 and not with windows.

All my disks are unlocked. They haven't any permission restrictions for writing or reading anything...

Thanks a lot for your answer.

* the directory is write protected :

Would you mean that the target disk is locked for writing?
If it's that I'm sure not because it's my work's disk...

* your disk is full:

I'm sure not also... :-)

*your disk is corrupted
I do not think... No problem to record on it with other software.

*a conflict occurs with “Dropbox like” applications
Maybe it's that. Yesterday Dropbox was open but after I've closed it, the problem was still existing...
And still existing now...

That's the first time I have to deal with this kind of problem.
Maybe there is some parameters on the global setup to fix it? Or anywhere else?

Thanks.
J.

Also try elevating privelages to administrator when you execute the program. If you do have installed in a protected directory, it might not be giving the permission to write, even though it received permission to execute.

I've run into various issues in the past. At the moment I run out of a C: folder and execute as administrator. If you use other drag and drop programs as well you will need the same administrator privelages.

I've got a little problem, maybe it's a bug but I don't think so.
I've tried to make researches on the forum and I find nothing about that.

I would like to record the stereo output with the recorder "direct to disk" but when I press the rec button, there is a red message under the window:

"Unable to create temp file."
What the meaning of that?

I've checked all the folder configuration in the setup menu and all is routed and clear.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.
Jules.
