Yes. The exact thing is automatize those functions of the recorder. I have to make this happen also for a midi track (for commanding a vsti).
Another question: are there samplers that run stereo tracks? I think I can obtain this thing using 2 tracks instead of 1. However is a little bit longer..

there is a choice of loopers in the browser : library/usine library/sampling/recorders

from there you may modify the patch to have it react with MIDI (try midi learn >> hit the DIN5 button on the left hand side of your screen)

Is possible to prepare a midi track to automative rec/play/loop/vsts parameters/stop to get pedal free looping? In Ableton is easy enough to get this thing, but I don't like the GUI and the layout...identical to every traditional DAW. The workflow is frustrating..
