After some time I found MediaMonkey was actually a decent program, and the gold version is at least affordable.

Unfortunately, MediaMonkey (and quite a few others) uses drag-and-drop events as a Copy-Event, so HollyHock does not recognize them as valid.

Therefore I created a small C# Winform tool to convert the Copy-Event into a Link-Event that HollyHock would accept.
If anyone else was interested, and facing the same issues I had, the utility is located here.

Note* In Windows, if you are having drag-and-drop issues: check UAC and that the applications share the same elevation.
If HollyHock is run as an administrator and the others not drag-and-drop will give issues.


Quite possibly maybe this could be a future Feature request to update HollyHock to accept both Copy & Link events?
