What I propose is a bit like in Ableton Live, where you can set gain, transpose, loop points, etc on the sample. If you open this sample in another set, everything is recalled.

So simply changing the file in the sampler list could change the settings, and it could be realy poweful and intuitive. Currenty, I have to edit every audio files to match volumes and to get a perfect trimming, so when I play live, I'm sure that when I drag a file in the sampler everyting is set.

It could be powerful to save other parameters. I do a lot of surround work and it could be nice to be able to recall, let's say, an audio matrix settings array for each sample. Or an FX send setting, Or pan. Or automation curves. Or anthing.

It could be stored in a hidden file, like wavesforms are stored in xxxx.usine.peak. Like Ableton does...

I does'nt seem too complicated from a programmer point of view, and a pretty basic function that would unleash possibilities.

For me, it's one of the drawbacks of Usine. I could pay for this improvement.

It would be realy powerful if the sampler could remember some settings for each file. Like loop in and outpoint, markers, transpose, speed. And maybe an array that could be used to store some parameters such as gain, pan, or other values that could be recalled on other modules.

Thanks,
Guillaume Thibert
