I use a very old LMK3 Keyboard from Doepfer which tends to send "Midi Noise" from sheer age on some controllers every now and then, which surely doesn't help the issue, but no other DAW I use ever got confused as Usine by this. And I never found a keyboard I like better (It's the very first pre-hammer-action version).
But I think the real trouble with Usine started with Windows 8, which otherwise doesn't give me any audio related problems.
Do you find LoopMidi better than CopperLan? I recently switched from the first to the latter but haven't put it through it's paces yet.
Thanks for the ideas and inspiration! And best of luck with the concert
Cheers,
Tom

My impatience is driven by the fact that the old Usine no longer works on my Windows 8 x64 machine. It gets confused all the time and interprets midi off as on and more such nonsense, so it's pretty much unusable.
The old/current Usine always had a buggy MIDI-implementation, it drove me near nuts in the past, but I found a workaround! Get a solid MIDI-capable DAW (like Reaper or Cubase), install LoopMidi (freeware) and route all your hardware midi from the DAW to seperate virtual MIDI-ports from loopMIDI. Then, get Usine to recieve only the loopMIDI-channels and it should work 10 times more solid. It works for me on Win7 64bit, I only get MIDI-gibberish every now and then in Usine this way. If you make your setup completely MIDI-remotely controlled (no on screen actions) you can even record your full set in your DAW as MIDI tracks, and play it back in different tempo's, pitch,... This way you have true event-based recordings of your sets and the possibilities for re-recording and additional production are endless! But that's just a plus! Hope this can help you.
I also respect Senso's choices about the release-date, but I must say I'm also impatient, since I have a big release-concert end of this week and the biggest risk on stage is still my Usine standalone version...
Godspeed Senso!

I know, we are late... But we prefer delayed the launching date and give you a good first beta version. It's a choice and I'm sure that you understand.
Actually we are focusing on - the patch library - the quick start manual - the user manual (more than 3000 pages)
We can't announce a precise date but be sure that it will arrive very soon. You can take a look on the following screen shot.
