You can make a lot of sound manipulation with Usine.
But the best way is often to download a VST which does the job?
I'm sure you can find good ones on the net.

Anyway, It can be a good suggestion to add some crusher, glitcher modules in usine!

Well about composing, I use Usine for instance to compose small midi sequences in the piano roll and then mangle them with patching, using random, sync module etc... The sequencer is also very useful.
Or to record and mix loops of different kinds.
When comosing I use improvisation a lot as a basis to create musical ideas, wich I then refine and adjust to my taste and needs. For this Usine is perfect.

About Reaktor, I too use it a lot and appreciate it a lot. But I actually don't really build my own instruments in Reaktor (I find it too long and technical, and not so much intuitive), neither do I really use the built in instruments in an advanced way since each of them is so specific and a whole world in itself (especially the grooveboxes), so I mainly use them "as is", or sometimes modify them a bit to my needs. But what I do a lot is simply to patch a few Usine modules and wires to them and then, very easily, the Reaktor instruments sound really surprising. I really find Usine globally more simple and intuitive. But for sure Reaktor is really great sounding.

but it seems we can't loop while overdubing
Maybe with two samplers?
In samplers, I'd like to have a switch on "save name" to have it on the interface is there anyway I can do that ?
Mmmm, you like typing on stage, do you? Just joking, sorry...
Just putting my nose into scripting (could be nice for midi potaging) it seems exciting !!

but it seems we can't loop while overdubing
Maybe with two samplers?
In samplers, I'd like to have a switch on "save name" to have it on the interface is there anyway I can do that ?
Mmmm, you like typing on stage, do you? Just joking, sorry...
Just putting my nose into scripting (could be nice for midi potaging) it seems exciting !!
Potaging, potaging... ah ces jeunes. If we don't speak English here, we're dead, man!

Love the long sampling time !! but it seems we can't loop while overdubing (otherwise only the part from drop to end is recorded)

Bravo, j'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites !!
