Regarding "the work space slides far from the content" - In my case, sometimes I'll open a patch and the window will appear empty. I'll slide around looking for my work but can't find it. It concerns me and plus I can't make changes so I save/quit/relaunch and everything's usually fine. Yesterday when this happened, I slid the window around in a grid pattern until I found the patch contents which is good news, but time consuming.

Thanks for looking at it,

-it would be useful for getting around a big patch
-could possibly allow for a zoom in to make the connection tabs bigger
Not easy to implement with the actual graphic engine.
-sometimes if the patch window view into the work space slides far from the content, it would be nice for finding your way back to the elements
I'm not sure I understand?
Also how about connecting the backspace key to the same action as double clicking in an empty space in the patch window so that you can change patch depth without using the mouse?
It's a goo idea, I'll think about this suggestion.
-a small window added on corner of patch that act as global map
Not easy but not impossible... Let me think about it.
