It really depends on the project.

Usually I play / build all materials that can with Usine and at one point I decide to assemble it all. (Here, in excerpt, is the example with the concrete sound on Boulogne sur mer)

For other projects with another musicians, the process is fully live. But for my personal project the process are generally mixed. I compose some parts to reach the level of complexity that I want, then I play with these elements live with Usine.
