i would say it could atleast be made as a option??
as computer power getting faster and faster,some of the things that would have taken ALOT of cpu power 1-2 years ago maybe would make good sense on upgrading,also to help keep the program up to date

but im not a programmer hehe
I'm quite sure it would be hard even to provide it as an option, considering the post by Olivier.
Personnally, I can really wait for next version.
It is just a bit annoying right now, especially because the "same color as the background" cannot work if background isn't solid colored.

Well, my wkp with my i7 quad-core takes 1-2% of cpu compared to 40-60% with my old computer.

So I would have a different opinion now ;)

Of course, we can use the same color used in the visual element placed under the text but ... it would be VERy more efficient with a transparency feature (I mean, a no color choice)
