The main problem of all the doc stuff is the update. The more you have doc, the more you spend time to update.
Actually, I have to maintain the English doc, the French (coming soon) the inline help (F1 key). Hard job...

That's why I'd prefer things totally independent of the main Usine package.
Like "how to do something with Usine" by Vincent.

Of course, I can put thoose new docs on the internet site.

It's cool if you want to try the PDF ->> HTML ->> CHM.

Yes tuto is a good idea.
I think about what I can do.
Then you could add a "Tuto" forum.
But that would be again more job, cause you'll perhaps want to check them...
I think that the first tutos to do are small examples of how to use Usine and organize patches (grid, sequencer, patches structure, ...). Understand the ground concept.
I'm not yet used enough, but I add this layer to my working "philosophy". And something will come.
I really would like Usine to become some kind of must for live perf, and put aside for a while that it's really greedy.
By the way, you did a PDF file instead of a CHM, is it a "political" choice? If you want, I can do a CHM starting from an HTM doc. It seems to me that CHM is much more lighter and quicker to use, just a sensation (loads only chapters or topic you're looking for).

As this is a general topic about Doc, just an idea:
I'm sure none of us uses the same modules, so we could develop a more complete help on those we know well to be included in the PDF?

Yeah, Olivier, I can already read your next post: "Why don't you start and show us with the script module?"
The answer is: "I'm too baaaad! but, if you like, I can do it for my non-working patch..."

So happy when I started to read the manual and discover there was a midi learn for every fader and I won't have anymore to build some midi input with channel filter, a data flow stop if the controller is not the desired one some math for suiting 0/127 to -24/24, saving it as the subpatch for each of the 64 controllers ...

I like when you discover you have done things manualy that you could have done with the machine ...

Reading is good and I'll do it more even if it's good to listen to his intuition.
