I've just test on a fresh install and work fine the way you describe , I've test with the sample named groove acid on track 2 , maybe the sample you use don't have enough peak variation..?

for the pitch variation you can set the max parameters of the random module to 0,53 for example to limit his pitch action , you can also add the script midi transpose ( modules/scripts/example/) between the random module and the midi in inlet of the sampler.

Hello,

My second question is : In the enveloppe follower patch, there 's a sampler with a bass sample. how can it be possible to set pitch limit ?
I'm only interested in low notes and actually e threre's low and quite high note played, and i don't want the high ones.....

Thank you
Maybe pass the output from the sampler through a lowpass filter to remove the higher frequencies?

I'm experimenting things with the envelope follower patch present in the demo workspace.
In this patch the audio input is from the waveplayer. I tried to change the input source, and no reaction.....

For example i have a sampler on track 1, on track 2 the envelope follower patch. The audio input of the track 2 is set to track 1. Then i can see that audio signal is passing thanks to the V.U, but i can hear no sound......Whereas if i press play on the wave player it's working......
