If you are comfortable with each effect sharing the same parameters then you keep things easier to manage.
Myself, I lean towards the more more complicated method of having predictable parameters.
Anyways, I'm glad I could help and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions...

The only problem here is parameter value jumps when switching from one set of CC's to another. There is ways to deal with this, but it will be a little more complicated. I assume you are using Usine standalone?
Let me know in more detail what you are trying to do and I will see if I can help.

So I would like to make the FX rack all link to the jog wheel, so for example I could select Ableton's Auto Filter effect (it has an X/Y pad as well) and mess with it and have it not disrupt the current position of say... the Flange X/Y pad. Is it possible for the MIDI filter to block specific MIDI messages and let others pass?

Thank you again! :D

So I've tried for about 4 hours to figure this out and I'm just stuck. Essentially what I want to do is have a X/Y work similar to how a job wheel would on a DJ mixer for effects and such (flange, echo, etc) through Ableton. Ableton's flange effect uses an X/Y pad and can be controlled with the mouse moving the ball around OR modifying the two values which move the ball (I believe it's Delay Time and Feedback). Both Delay Time and Feedback can have MIDI assigned to them.

Here is my problem. Correct me if I'm wrong in understanding this (still a n00bie), but in the X/Y Pad on Usine assigns 0.0000 values as opposed to whole integers. It's my understanding that if whole integers are sent to the Code 1/2 and Create boxes using an Events Control like Has Changed they can create a MIDI message which can be sent to MIDI out (similar to what you would do with a fader or knob). The problem is, I can't figure out how to transform the 0.000 values into integers and I've tried some of the Math modules and can't seem to get it to work.

Am I on the right track or am I going about this all wrong?

Thanks!!
