I will post an update that will solve definitively the problem (if it exists) with the channel filter option in the midi filter module.
soon.
Also, I think I have to change the midi philosophy under Usine. Not as efficient as the audio...

Just tested your idea Bsork.
It actually works perfectly, but only to send midi out of usine, because, first the midi out has no "out" outlet, so you can't send its data to a VSTi inside Usine for instance, and second, when you put the midi out in a subpatch, the channel inlet disappears, so you can't control it anymore.
So, to send midi with a channel change out of Usine your trick is really great, but use as a subpatch it unfortunately doesn't work.

I'm gonna test your idea, seems to be great (anyway far more economic than mine ;-)...

I've done the same thing by just sending the data straight from midi in to midi out, with a new channel fader connected to the "chan" input of the out module.

Have you tried that and experienced problems like missing or
stuck notes or something? Or that maybe some other non-channel-mode messages get corrupted?
