About your Behringer DDM4000 , seems that he use only CC and midi note , so this will not be a problem with Usine

With the new version 5 allowing multi-touch user interface and the upcoming Windows 7 tablet pc's, my dream may finally come to true!
Here's the setup I was thinking of getting:
Run Usine V5 on HP TouchSmart tm2-1000 laptop (http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/ho ... 78805.html) with multi-touch capability (not sure if it's dual or real multi-touch, though) and connect my Behringer DDM4000 mixer to the laptop, thus allowing me to have main master/FX controls on the mixer.
I'm getting a Windows 7 multi-touch laptop/tablet for the only purpose of having a touch-sensitive step sequencer, so I would like to know if my setup is possible. I don't know all of the technical details, but the issues that might come up is whether Usine got support for my MIDI-compatible mixer (I know that I can connect it to my laptop running Ableton) and I believe that the laptop running Usine need to have a specific soundcard as well? I'm also not so sure if there're any specific CPU requirements, like if I get a cheap tablet and it won't be able to handle the horsepower etc.
Any help much appreciated!
