I didn't know image panel module. I'm going to use your solution, and post a suggestion of improvment for an endless pot in the interface design ;-)

I'd like a knob that controls a range VST parameter for example, without beeing stored in the conductor, and an endless knob seems to be the solution ?
I've already found that a button>toggle>pass if change>inlet of a VST switch, and a led on the outlet of the same switch does the job, and would be delighted to find an equivalent for a range adjustment.
