Nobody should have to be a genius ;) just to get a simple tempo synced loop recorder/player ...
Something like this maybe...?

Now we just need a "slice" mode for time stretching percussive material...?

Edit:
Cool! So many undocumented uses for Usine! I now have a sweet beat loop slicer..hopefully soon to be an addon to share...

The "rec" switch is quantize to quantize cycle

P.S: To test, i've changed the tempo from 160 to 100, with quantize cycle buttons and multiplevar modules

edit: in the first A/B module, b=100.

I think it's absolutly normal, as tempo and speed are different. Working on this to give a little example. I will try to post a screenshot this evening. The main idea might be:
if "rec" is on, memorize original tempo, and set grain sampler speed to 100%.
if tempo is changing, compare original tempo to new, to adapt grain sampler speed in %.

This idea might work if you pass straight from a bpm to another.

Right now I have a MasterSync tempo out going to the speed in on the Grain Sampler, but this only works properly when I start a project at exactly 100bpm.
The idea is that the bar synced loop always records into the sampler at original speed and pitch and then stays nicely in sync as I change tempo.

Ideas?
