Oh, damn, Olivier... my birthday is just over a week away, am I getting my most wished-for present, a new Usine version?
happy birthday, Usine v5 will be the major improvement since the v1.0: - new ergonomic concept, - new design, - new engine, - new modules - etc.
Unfortunately it will be available only in few month.
You know I have now amassed 100 pages of ideas for multi-touch interfaces and gestural commands? It's getting a little eerie.
I'm very interested by your vision of the multitouch, feel free to send me your ideas especially if you can create a small document about it. I make the official announcement : Usine is now multitouch!. I'm working on a demo video.
I'm still equivocating about waiting all the way til the Packard Bell’s Viseo 200T Multi-Touch Monitor comes along for £200 (about $330) in mid-October... but 20" of multi-touch custom GUI control is something that's been burning a hole in my psyche for several years now..........................................................................arg!!!
