basically it shifts the original array and creates two other clones virtually one the left and one the right (one shifted of the array lengh and one negatively) that also shifts, so summing the three get the rolled array. the previous version might be lighter on cpu if array lengh is less than 170, have to check not sure.

very clever patch :cool:

a user module souhn't be to difficult, inspired from bmoussay script. Could be a good practice for someone who want to begin with the SDK :rolleyes:

I can help if needed

...to be a little boring I ideally dlike to access the same kind of roll at a pach level,
for example if it receives an event it shift(sorry roll) any sequence of 2, 3 ect..
in fact a module version of bmoussay script would be very modular to apply to any array type.
but for now it do the job for me, just a bit hitting cpu if using to much instances/ a module version would do maybe...

and I maybe found a workaround if I concat the same array 2x and use the shift module, can fake a roll if using AmodB.
just a maybe later when modules will be rewritten suggest then..but most modular/less boring i guess instead of reimplementing to all might be a new friend for the shift array module called roll array :)

edit ok, another solution i found:

limitations: max array lenght become 170 (512/3) but might be enough for many cases.
advantages: 50percent Cpu load of the script version.
quite sure there is a better version possible keeping 512 limit, working on, if anyone has ideas welcome!

the roll function already exists : shift key!!!!
you mean 'Browser->modules->Array->Shift Array' ?
