about SM , i'm conscious about the limitations , the purpose here was to give users a first basic pack to begin but i know that some of you want more and i'm yet working on some others ones who ( i hope ) will be betters and this time with Synthedit...

-- the oscillators are moreover not very useful imho, sorry to say so. usine would need internal stuff here, I am afraid the cpu consumption is too high (same for the SE adaption somebody did in the addon section).. also the reverb cannot compete with other free verbs.
however, thanks (its just I am not a big SM fan)

" maybe a misunderstood here, this pack is a pack of patchs and i ( we ) have work to make them compatible with Usine , at first you 're not suppose to use diretly the vst , but more the patch...( they even were to be closed at first )
maybe cool if you post a patch exemple...?
but maybe not the problem , anyway , i don't have a really good configuration here, ( no really 32bits driver for my soundcard under vista , sometimes graphic problems...) , but no problems here with the gain or amplitude on the OSc...
did someone else have this problems...?
thanks anyway for feedback

Actually I think tthe problem is more complicated. I've tried to build a simple oscillator patch with a gain control. I meet exactly the same problem when I try to control the gain of this patch from usine: I get some audio clicks when controling the gain from Usine via the vst inlet. Only solution: put a smoother in reaktor before the gain of the oscillator. So maybe it comes from the resolution of the VST inlets. Seno would you have a hint? Maybe the best solution would be for all the synthesis modules to have an integrated ADSR (in the SYN patches you've made it works like a charm), but of course it would make some more work for you. What do you think? Regards, B.

thanks moody , for the reverb , not sure i can help you , as i say in the credits , most of the shematic for this reverb was the work of guru from synthmaker forum but here the " principal " engine " http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/941/fdnyv5.th.jpg
Thanks you...But this is in chinese ! Huhuhu.
Any good dsp coders here?

]]>2008-12-29T01:39:56+02:002008-12-29T01:39:56+02:00https://brainmodular.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1250&p=6782#p6782 Congratulations for this Synthesis pack. I'm testing it and I find the sound of your VSTs really amazing!! Great Job!! I'm just currently facing one problem concerning the "amplitude" inlets of the OSC modules. While trying to build a simple substractive synth I've connected a step to the freq inlet of the simple osc. Then I've connected a "curve with points" set to a AD enveloppe (A=0ms, D=200ms) to the amplitude inlet of the OSC. The problem is that the amplitude responds quite slowly to the curve with points and gives an attack too slow (it misses the small click I should get with a 0ms attack).
Then I've tried to put a A*B module between the osc audio out (conneced to A)and the patch audio out and I've connected the curve with points to B. In this case the envelope responds pefectly, but there seems to be a slight delay of response in the frequency inlet of the OSC, so I hear a kind of "glide" when the pitch changes.
I don't know if I'm clear when explaining all this, what do you think? Best regads,
B.
Edit: Actually I've just experienced a bit with a data delay module, and it seems that the actual change of pitch in the "freq" inlet of your osc modules appears only around 30-50ms after it has been sent to the inlet. Do you also observe this behaviour? If yes do you think you could reduce this latency?
