EDIT: lol. i didnt know that i must turn on MIDI THRU to make it work. i guess i am really some übernoob here. anyway, i let the thread stay, perhaps there are other noobs like me^^

i wanted to create a simple patch where i could play on my keyboard (a simple korg k25, which is recognized by usine, and the midi in trace works fine) to a pianoroll which is connected to a vsti. i havent read the whole manual, but took a look into the relevant passages, and everything seemed to be ok. ("midi input". maybe you hid the relevant parts on page umteen-twelve, i dont know^^)

i hate it to feel dumb... ive done things in ableton live where people who worked with it told me "damn. cool idea. never thought of that" after 2 weeks, but i cant get a hold on usine. what do i do wrong? am i too noob for this tool? why does it say "no midi"? i guess ill figure it out sooner or later, but its frustrating as heck. so go on, flame me^^
